Health insurance sucks, what can I do? Thus, two and a half months I have applied. BCBS pays 50% of the vision and I sent a bill which I paid $ 315.55, maximum charge is $ 100. I sent the application in. waited 30 days, no check. they called said they didn't know what happened and could not know. called next week. no idea. next week I finally said that he was denied necessary to send a detailed receipt. so I faxed to them. waited 20 days. still not done. one week, yet. However, it was 2 ½ months and finally they have changed but not yet sent the check. not to mention, some how they got 40 million to 50%. whether the request should be retired and he could take and additional 45 days.
Yes, this really stinks.
File a complaint against them with your insurance regulator of the state. If you Google's complaint record health insurance, you get a bunch of sites of state regulation. Good luck!
Erica ...
This is an excellent example of how bureaucracy works. A person is sold in their game plan, then when it's time for them to do their work, while you as the customer is now shelved. I know it's frustrating to have to wait and more frustrating to have played the game with having to do things after the fact but if you read the fine print before going to the insurance company, then you have a better idea, or you can not cope with this entity.
This answer is for you Erica and it is for anyone else who reads this. People, it is time to wake up.
These types of people around the screw with your money, then they tell you NO!
My answer to you is do not subscribe to their nonsense.
If enough people stop dealing with trhis type of legalized robbery, then the industry will change and the operators will come under trash.
Another fine example is lawyers and law firms.
These people are not worth the money being spent, because it is not the law, they are trained for.
When people go to UNIVERSITY studying law they have learned different values.
A lawyer for the University is trained to find an angle to get the most money on you as efficiently as possible. The
dilatory tactics they use, so it is clearly indicitive that their practices clearly what they are ... Scummy TRASH!
The people you need to start screening your insurance companies very close, and any person who makes you sign on the dotted line. Most of this type of service is not honest. Will you answer me either thank or to discuss this issue when my email is kendk1@yahoo.ca
