My confidence is in my work, but I pay $ 138.00 pd Pay for insurance. Can someone explain the difference for me please!
He is the type of BlueCross / BlueShield you. Just because your employer has to pay for it does not mean it covers. They can not have that plan available to them for any reason or simply do not opt for it. I "BlueCross / BlueShield Preferred PPO in Florida and it covered everything, and our plan covered all prescription drugs that many insurances do not cover. Sometimes, in order to verify the coverage you need the number of the procedure. Your doctor can provide them. In addition, some clinics offer pamphlets companies that infertility treatments Finance, or perhaps you could look on line. I saw the Flyers at my doctor's office. Perhaps your employer offers more than one type of insurance, if you can find that all types of coverage and change your registration before you begin treatment that may be a solution. I would also ask your support coverage for prescription drugs can be very expensive. Some are over $ 6,000.00 for a cycle. I will not tell you that it is not worth it. It's worth it. I hope everything works for you.
There are many different plans through Blue Shield. Some pay for part of infertility treatments, some pay for anything.
You can have the same insurance, but the company you work for is one who chooses which covers insurance.
I work at Blue Cross Blue Shield in my state. IVF treatment is very expensive. There are a variety of reasons why your health insurance company can not cover these types of benefits. Our state covers only following my State which states that we cover at least 80% of members including IVF therapy. However, an employer can have Blue Cross Blue Shield - there be a mandate, but the group is self-insured "meaning that they pay their own claims - not the insurance company and they do not want to incur the expense.
I know it stinks. Call Customer Service and make sure you do not have coverage. . . Sometimes clinics / physicians to provide benefits, but your plan may be different.
If you have confirmed with customer service that is an exclusion from the contract, you have the right to file a complaint with your insurance company.
Unfortunately, it has nothing to do with the amount you contribute to your weekly benefits through payroll deductions.
