Is a residential wind and hail the manufacturer covers political risk of fire damage?

No.

If politics is precisely the wind and hail coverage, that means you're in hurricane alley - FL, TX, or LA - and the wind / hail coverage is separate from the regular "builders risk". Regular builders risk cover both fire and hail / wind, when it is available.

So when it is sold separately, you have to buy coverage for BOTH fire and wind - two policies.

You must read your policy-Although the way you ask, the answer is clearly NOT the case of a wind and hail policy covers wind and hail However, in all my years I've never seen a policy rsik manufacturers as wind and hail only covered??? I saw several that are fire and theft policies that included wind and hail coverage, so read your policy and ask your agent if he or she can not answer you then find another agent
