Why not limit the health insurance catastrophic insurance and allow a service fee for the rest? A "good food" type of program can be used to provide the poor and working poor to have access to service charges and insurance against disaster?
That would solve 90% of the escalating costs of health care by eliminating the third party payment systems that have led to pressure health care ---- why Congress so stupid?
Because not solve the problems with the health system of the United States that the results of his failure of many Americans.
I do not understand why so many Americans have fallen for the lies about health care in the United States, abroad as well as planned reforms [1]. I mean, if the system of health care in the United States is so good, why not other nations, is taken? Is it because of the following facts?
FACT - the USA spends more on health care per person than any other nation on the planet [2].
FACT - the United States the highest mortality rate for children under five Western European countries that universal health coverage [3].
Or if the U.S. health system is run so well, why not run the fire department, as the health system? [4]
Perhaps that is because in the U.S., insurance companies and push up costs, buy politicians and refuse to pay claims that people pay for [5]. (Look Up Wendell Potter on YouTube to learn if the link is below too long.)
Obama wants to make insurance cheaper, stop insurance companies to deny health coverage to those with pre-existing conditions, and make sure they pay when they are supposed to [6], a similar system to those who work in Taiwan [7]. He has discussed this before being elected [8].
Is it fair that American deaths in four years would have a better chance of life if born in Canada, Cuba, Germany and many other industrialized countries with universal health care?
If you think my arguments are wrong, send me an email with the evidence. But if you can not let Obama try to help America. If it fails, the vote in 2012.
The hospitals currently charge the uninsured up to 10x as they charge an insurance company for the same service.
Insurance against disasters means that people are virtually "uninsured" for services from day to day.
Hospitals would go ahead and everyone responsible for uninsured rate "? Or" insured "rate? Or something in between?
"In 2004, U.S. hospitals charged uninsured patients more than two times the amount they told the insurance companies for the same services, the study said. Hospitals also charged uninsured patients more than three times the allowable costs specified by Medicare.
In general, hospitals set prices for services, but then negotiate discounts with private insurers. They are also limited to what they can charge patients covered by Medicare and Medicaid.
The study, which examined hospital charges between 1984 and 2004, found a growing gap between what hospitals charge insured patients and uninsured. In 1984, the uninsured were charged 1.35 times as much as health insurance for hospital services, in 2004 this number had increased to 3.07 times more ... "
Because some people may have already been diagnosed, and require ongoing treatment or medication to maintain the disease. that could cost much money and nobody should be bankrupt because of this. What if they are all ready had a disaster? so what? They are screwed?
It is the middle class, upper middle class, not poor. Dirt poor have already supported. the rich do not give a **** and the middle class are sustainable health care ins increased by 131% in the last decade. Sorry, your idea does not solve the problem.
Because the catastrophic insurance does not have people who go to the doctor and make things checked. If you skip going to the doctor and you end up with breast cancer, your chances of surv.
