Is it absurd to compare the funding of fire departments to reform health care? According to the National Volunteer Fire Council, 73 percent of firefighters in the United States are members of Volunteer Fire Departments. employee pays the tax not paid.
Well, in addition, an anti-fire is a part of the charter of local government.
There is no constitutional authorization for the federal government to control all health care insurance.
major difference - the local government acts within its Charter to negotiate for the fire department and purchase of equipment and goods for the house. The federal government would violate the 10th Amendment limitations by adopting any type of public sector reform, health care option.
Last point - the reform of health care does not necessarily mean a health care controlled by the government. The Republicans were proposing reforms that are based on the open market, reducing government control over the policies and increasing competition and insurance products to consumers, as well as providing individuals with the same reductions companies to obtain tax to provide health insurance.
You do not know how the fire department obviously.
In large cities most of these are full-time firefighters.
Running a fire department is a social program, and is run by the government so it is socialism.
While all firefighters are volunteers, how are the fire trucks, equipment, and fire houses maintained? Oh, right, with taxpayer money.
It is ridiculous for you to even discuss the issue of fire service and to compare it to Obamacare because you do not even know how the fire service.
Nope, not at all stupid. And your statistic is below. But even if it was not giving service to help others is the same as the "socialized" medical care that takes care of all. The problem with your argument is that no one is suggesting that. Personally, I think they should because we've become the worst at all levels of health care, except the very high level (and also health care that Michael Jackson has received).
I do not know if it's silly, but it is false,
In most rural areas that we have volunteer fire companies, these people are employed full time. Then, in addition, they give so much time and too often their lives to give us a measure of security. WITHOUT PAY! They spend more time than they are not trained to raise money so they can buy equipment to replace worn and damaged goods and save our lives.
Health care reform is a means to socialize. But in true socialist fashion they do not put the 15% without it, everybody level. They will make everyone (except for themselves) down for the rest.
If they want to reform health care ... Just add our names to the same policies as politicians.
Great point. Now, compare health reform to free movement, universal health care that you provided to Iraqis and Afghans for ALL 7 years by OUR tax dollars. Now, compare it to the Medicare and VA benefits.
then, municipal services funded by non-employees paid by the tax is a bad comparison to private physicians to accept money paid to insurance funded by the government how?
Yes it is. is to compare auto insurance mandatory.
interesting
No. And you can include roads, police, schools, etc. in the list.
