Fml InsurancePosted on January 17, 2010. Once an employee is over 12 weeks of FML, can they be required to pay the insurance premium in full? Some employees try to abuse our system. It has been on leave for 26 weeks, another for 30 weeks. Could we, as an employer, said at the beginning of the leave after 12 weeks, they must pay the entire premium (employer and the amount they cost)?
