Ghi Dental

My husband works for state.He received his dental plan through GHI.He added me to his policy for the dental, vision and health as soon as we got married on 14 march.Shouldnt I I acquired a map? Am I covered and use the same card? I already have my card that has my own, my husband and my son's name on it for health and vision (there under the same card and dental separated) long ago? Am I covered or is there a waiting period or something? I read somewhere that there is like the waiting period 56 days or something the day you become covered? Does anyone know anything about this?? Hes going to call tomorrow, just wondering about it now.
