My mother has the assurance of the IGS. Since I am the age of 18 years, I must be full-time student enrolled in college. My question is are there other ways to remain covered other than being a full-time student because I may not be able to go to college next semester, but I need my medical coverage. You can try to get your own individual policy. However, you said you have a blanket that mean that you have a health problem requiring treatment? If yes, more than likely (depending on state), it will not be covered because it is a pre-existing condition or you may even be refused.
