Great West Dental Insurance

Posted on February 4, 2010.
Great West Dental InsuranceQuestions about dental care?

My ex-spouse and I are not on good terms at all. I presented our children's dental care cost my ex-spouse Great West Dental Insurance because it must go through his insurance before mine. This was sent Juin 05 and the check was issued to her on June 08. I have sent her a letter to that effect by registered letter, but she did not pick it up. I have sent her the letter by e-mail also. She did not answer me or send me money from his cast. This money is mine since I paid for the dental bill. ($ 250.00). The check was issued to it amounting to $ 196.85. How do I go about recovering my money.

It might not be what you can do here unless you involve your lawyer, which will cost more than the dental bill.
In the future, make sure the dental office submits the request to transfer "benefits" box checked. In this way, the payment will come to the dental clinic and they are much more likely to issue a refund to you.

Also, if there is double insurance (and I can not believe I'm saying this), ask your dentist if they can wait for payment until the plans have paid. This family is a nightmare for dental offices that has sometimes stuck in the struggle between separated parents.

Can you put a stop payment (through bank) on the check? This will have a right, but should work.
