Can you buy two individual plans of insurance? Can you have more than one health insurance plan for your car?
I must buy my own insurance, but even the best individual insurance is crap and I wanted to now if people are still buying two insurance plans? The insurance I have now let me see the doctor twice a year. If I have another insurance plan would he pick up where one left off?
No, it does not work that way. Most airlines require that you agree to cancel your existing contract at the time of your request again, and if you have two policies we will be primary, secondary and other. You will reap the benefits of better terms, but where they overlap, one will pay.
What you may want is an additional benefit plan or limited to go with your insurance policy. These are not insurance policies and I usually do not recommend them. I think your money would be better spent purchasing policy easier, or a type of plan and HSA bank savings.

Most "real" health insurance plans will not allow the coordination of benefits if they are both complete and comprehensive major medical insurance (which is what I mean by "real").
If you do not get the coverage you think you need then you probably just want to buy a comprehensive plan of the news with more benefits. Stick with large companies and trust as Aetna, Assurant, Celtic, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, etc. and compare offers from more businesses as possible.
An independent agent will be able to help you solve all the options.
