Legal Insurance Management

Posted on February 28, 2010.
Legal Insurance ManagementWhat is general insurance covers the management of legal fees and Court if it wishes to pursue a third party?

I'm not sure I understand the issue thoroughly. I do not think that there insurance (standard anyway) that covers you in case you want to sue someone.

Upper management of a company may be interested in purchasing the director and officers coverage for the reverse situation.

This protects the company and individual officers in the event of legal action by a third party (including shareholders). It will include defense costs.

There is no such assurance. Different types of liability insurance policies are available to cover management against lawsuits brought against them, but there is no policy to cover the costs of prosecution against a third party.

Pre-Paid Legal even does not cover your legal costs to pursue third.

None that I know. If you want to continue, you pay the legal fees.
