Nursing Home Insurance

Posted on March 12, 2010.
Nursing Home InsuranceI pay twice the insurance premium on my nursing home that my friend. Am I getting screwed?

I RiverSourse life, but John Alden. It seems that the benefits are equal. Help.

I agree with the post above. Another important variable is when each policy was purchased. If your friend has purchased his / her long-standing policy, it is possible that he / she has obtained a better premium break because of his youth (ER) at the time.

There are too many factors that may complicate situations that resemble the surface.

As others have suggested - the differences in your health status, sex, age, how long the policy was in force, etc. - could all be put into play

In addition, a plan that resembles equality on the surface can not be so equal. Your friend may be a cap on benefits that you have not taken into account, etc.

If you want to be sure, check with your friend where he / she bought the policy. Get a quote from the broker / company on the same policy, and how it compares. Whether you find that the policy of your friend is the best offer, or you discover that there's something about you that is more expensive to insure.

YOU ARE the same age.?

There are many variables. You can be older or you smoke or have health problems other than your friend does not. Your friend and man you are a woman? Because women live longer in general. Nursing homes are full of pedestrians walking around.
