My dog has been on the Banfield Wellness Plan for several years, but I discovered that this is not one of the best health plans. His current plan only allows her to be treated at the hospital Banfield that the plan has been signed under, and they have no long hours. My clinic did a lot with IPV and it is relatively simple and affordable. Learn about the different plans they offer and make sure it suits you, then after you register, this is how it works. Animal insurance is not like the insurance man. You can go to a veterinarian, but the plan you choose selects what is covered and what is not. You can do this treatment you choose your veterinarian, remember that you must pay for all this. VPI insurance forms are filled out by your vet (take them with you or ask for a receipt - it is very likely have one) and sent by you. VPI reimburses you then. I think VPI insurance that you can use anywhere.
