Pet Insurance Dog Insurance

Posted on March 11, 2010.
Pet Insurance Dog InsuranceDo you have pet insurance for your dog?

I have two dogs who have recently had blood in their stool and I had Takem both the emergency room. I ended up forking out $ 400 that day and I'm thinking of taking a pet insurance.

What has been your experience with insurance dog? What are the best companies to go with?

I tried the method of putting money aside .... and he turned against high time when a dog has torn his ACL surgery and necessary and one of my dogs had a complication of his right spay surgery at the same time. I spent thousands. Since then, I had the assurance of my dog and I saved a lot more than what I paid in premiums. The trick is to find a good company though. Many companies have an hourly wage that seems reasonable, and that is how they pay ..... So even if you can pay $ 500 if their PayScale allows only $ 200 for this service, you get only $ 200.
I highly recommend Petplan insurance. They pay you based on what you actually pay your veterinarian and have always paid on time and 100% of what they have promised to pay. They cover ER visits as well as specialists and all of hip dysplasia treatment against cancer.

I have had dogs most of my life, I have to buy insurance dog twice, and it was a joke. It covers just anythng. When your pet is very ill and needs medical help right away, it can be very expensive and most tests are not covered. I would say it's better to save your money by not buying insurance because it covers almost anything. I have no more insurance, and my dogs go for their regular plans once a year unless something else happens. But I would say forget assurance, it is a scam.

When I looked into insurance for pets (4 years ago it may have changed), I found she had many restrictions, like most covverage stopped at a certain age and only covered as and deferred to emergancies etc. After the effigy of mathematics, it was more logical to me to set up a savings account and putting money every month I pay to an insurance company there. Unless you have a right to relief in begging you need to build an emergency fund in big benefits to others it is never expires, works on any company, and when your pet spends the money is still there for another animal. I have set aside $ 15 per pet each paycheck. Now I have a little over 4000.00 for a relief in and as I said, without limitation, things could be different now perhaps the most political cover now do not know

I'm glad you asked that question. The savings plan, if you will not touch, would be great. But if the money is there and you really need, it is not a guarantee that you will not touch. Some people are just bonds, on the other hand I am not. I thought insurance plans throughout the night. That's what I decided to do after that first year with Rose. She had to have two suger and a series of hollow. Veterinarians increasingly move away from situations ER in rural areas where there is no ER vet in particular. I have insurance on my children, so I'm going to take out insurance on my best friend too.

Research indicates that pet insurance is a waste of money and the owner just needs to suck it and pay an average of 400.00 dollars to 350.00 dollars a dog and a cat on an annual basis.

I have insurance for my dog and I think it's worth it though. I have it in "Banfield Animal Clinic in my town. My dog has allergies and was treated to try several medications if visits have increased. In addition, when I passed he needed surgery and dental radiographs. All blood work and dental surgery is included in the plan that I pay. On a routine basis, I pay for drugs, but not for the visit.

The disadvantage is that you must pay a premium for all m.
