I understand that Prepaid Legal is not in itself a Pyramid Scheme.In everything we have to do is simply check the Internet and you will discover like me that the services of many groups' request "to be exclusive to their particular group are available to members only. However, the costs are the same, except yous must recruit others just so you can earn money. That is what I consider a pyramid scheme. Entry level people must employ at least 3 others just so they can make money. As I told someone else, that sooner or later, the supply of potential recruits will be "dry" is the simple law of supply and demand. People who are really making money are those in the top2 or 3 levels. If you look at it, it looks like a great learning Enron Corp.. My argument is, why do we really need to join a group like this, when infact the same services are accessible to all. This is why I think this a pyramid scheme. Is it legal to CA? Anyone can register, I do not get anything, unless you obtain a membership, but if the memberships are not sold, they can not make money. Of course, I make a small commission off of people who register as partners with me, but do mortgage brokers and real estate brokers and nobody is on here calling these scams businesses. You have been misinformed about people recruiting 3 people to make money. There is a choice, you can recruit 3 people, each with a member or sell 5 memberships. It works anyway. In addition, we offer it as a benefit of group companies, so that people take this route, as membership sales and make money. I have no idea where you got your information but I can assure you it is incomplete. There are 5 ways to make money in this business: 1. recruit, 2. Direct Selling 3. Group benefits, 4. Small Business 5. DPAC drivers. You will probably get all the facts before you bash a company. It is legal in all of North America. Some states, like where I live, even require a license.
