Reliable Insurance

Posted on March 19, 2010.
Reliable InsuranceAre there well known and reliable insurance companies in Florida that provide insurance?

Seems that every insurance company is to leave Florida.

I suggest talking to a broker familiar with Florida. A broker works with several companies and can find the best rates and coverage for you. To find a dealer, log on to a site like http://www.homeownerswiz.com and complete an application form for a free estimate. Your information will be sent to a dealer in your area who will contact you. Good luck!

This is where you should watch if you want to find the Florida business of insurance who did not leave:

Good luck Report Abuse

No, no.

There is some under-capitalized companies that are unrated and have been in business for less than a year, starting in Florida. I do not recommend them.

Then, there are citizens - the State plan. This is probably the case, you must get your insurance. Yes, all the other companies leave Florida, or try to. And the premiums are spiraling upward.

The overall insurance climate in Florida ensures that I am glad to live in Texas!

What you need to do is call an independent insurance agent. Just look in the telephone book for the PIA or Big I (Trusted Choice) logos and you should be able to find a professional agent with several different companies to help you solve your dilemma.

It is important to have someone local because he understands the unique needs of your region. A good example of this is my own sister-brother. My office is inside, and we're about 300 miles from the coast and coastal exposure (eg, hurricanes, windstorms.) She bought a house in Houston and called me to insurance ownership. Not that I could assure her house, I did what the law and referred it to an agent in his local area, as it would be more experienced in writing coastal exhibition halls and all the little nuances which are associated with this exhibition, and it is about 50 miles from the coast. The local agent will also know which companies and those who will not write down the coast .... and you guys have two coasts to worry!

Good luck and I hope it helps!
