Security Life Dental

Security Life DentalIndividual dental insurance?

I'm 22 and I am looking for dental care. I called a few places I could find that offers dental insurance and either I'm not entitled to because of my age or dental care is not available for my condition. I am in the State of New York. I called AARP --- they do not deal with the elderly.
I called Delta Dental and they do not serve NY.
I called MVPHealthCare.com, but I forgot them because I think it was the same as the reason Excellus (they do not offer individually, I have to go through an employer). I can not go through an employer because I am self-employed.

I turned to EHealthCare.com but I feel they are a scam. They claim to be a broker for several companies to adapt. When I run a quick quote on their site, it comes with "Bay Dental", as the insurer, but they have no information about the Bay of dental care to give me. I wanted to research the original insurer, but I could not because they do not give me any information about them. ehealthinsurance.com dentemax.com me and say they have something to do in the Bay of dentistry, then told me that the Bay Dental is underwritten by a comapny called "Standard Security Life" and I can not find a company name. The only one I found was the safety standard of living in NY, but they are a completely different company. There is a company called Bay Dental, but in California, and they are a dentist office. So I'm completely lost. I am eligible for Bay Dental Pan ehealthinsurance.com thruogh but I'm afraid to register because I do not know if the bay plan Dental is a real company or is a scam ehealthinsurance.com complete.

The strange thing is this. Ehealthinsurance.com said that I must pay in full with a credit card for their dental plan of the bay where they can deduct each month, but I have to give them a bank account. They do not charge my credit card per month for the plan. Instead they want my bank account # for the monthly fee. They do not use my credit card if I want to pay in full.

Do you know someone who provides dental care to the state of NY? I "am not looking for a dental plan where I am limited in dentist office of the company. I have my own dentist I go and I want some type of insurance to go to my dentist of their choice.

Private dental care (as opposed to the employer dental insurance) is extremely expensive and usually does not make sense to buy. But there are affordable dental discount plans. I am self-employed and I saved thousands of dollars in dental costs over the years using a discount dental plan. The plan I chose is the GE Dental Plan, but I do not know if it is available in your state. There are many good plans to choose from. These plans have a low annual premium, and offer significant discounts to participating dentists. See http://www.lowpriceddentalplans.com to see that reduction plans are available for your zip code.

You do not know how the citations were for dental insurance, but depending on how you take care of your teeth, it seems to be one of those things that might be more expensive than it is worth. It can not cover cosmetic dentistry or braces.

I have never had dental insurance and I do not know if ours at work are $ 8 per check (2 weeks) or monthly. But I probably would have paid as much or more in 2 years for dental care that I needed 34 years of work to date. The first work and I need dental treatment was 2 years ago at age 55 when it cost me just over $ 200 to pull a molar I shared 4-way on a piece of bone in a hamburger. As a kid, I drank lots of milk to build strong bones and teeth and had fluoride treatments per year until the age of 16.
