Temporary Auto Insurance

I know u can do in the United Kingdom ... but can not find an insurance agency in the United States to do so.

The best thing to do is call a local independent agent. Look in the telephone book for the PIA or Big I (Trusted Choice) logos and they should be able to help.

In Texas, we have several companies that will write a policy for 30 days - but the amount LESS time for delivery.

If you are heard as a tourist, you can purchase insurance on a rental car. I had the foreign workers who come and it is more profitable to buy a car for the period they are here and then sell them back to Europe.

In this case, 30 day policy is probably what you need. You can always start a 6 month payment and then simply stop paying when you leave the country.
