Do I need insurance shopping? just starting my business onwn and trying to find information on income insurance, etc.
It seems to me that you need several types of insurance:
1. You need liability insurance if something you do (or something your employees do) harms someone else or their property. Many times, people who might hire you will require a copy of your liability insurance before they let you on their premises.
2. You need property insurance to cover physical things that you use in your business as a truck or car, tools, construction, etc. The policy should cover damage or theft.
3. You need insurance against accidents Workmens to cover accidents at work. Many states require you to have insurance, but even if they do not require it, have a good idea and it helps to attract good workers. This insurance covers (in whole or in part) the cost of treating injuries that occur during working hours.
4. You need disability insurance. This is what some call the insurance "income" because it provides income continues even if you are injured and unable to really do a job for a fee. You're much more likely to be disabled than die during your working career. Make sure it does not provide a single payment, but expects revenues in the long term if your injury puts you on the sidelines for good.
5. You need health insurance to cover you, your family and your employees if necessary. The insurance applies regardless of whether an accident occurs at work. It is 24 / 7 insurance which covers accidents and illnesses and the best type covers physicians, hospitals, and prescriptions. If you are a beginner, cash may be tight.
