What Prime TRICARE cover vision? My daughter broke my glasses in half and I'm new to how TRICARE works if I need to know if I am covered for new glasses or is it just the exam? My husband is active duty, if that counts?
I'll give you a simple easy to understand the answer because it seems that you havent got .. one.lol TRICARE covers only the review .. you have to pay for the glasses.
Each year Tricare first will focus on examining the eyes for glasses. (Tricare will pay the full cost of the examination for glasses) Now, on the other hand if you were to get an eye exam for contacts and TRICARE will pay most of the cost you will pay Ann $ 20 out of pocket. Tricare first will focus on testing and not real glasses or contacts. You can get an exam each year per beneficiary as indicated in your explanation of the benefit package!
